Recent popular item is a prize box of sweets that has precise model of animal, plant and people. Many people buy such sweets being attracted to the prizes rather than sweets itself. There are even fans who buy such products in bulk. One of the most popular model producers is Shinobu Muramatsu, a charismatic model producer. His model is priced high at auctions. This boom is also coming to an electric town, Akihabara, and this type of models and related animation products started occupying a larger space of the sales floor.
Railroad models have a wide variety of products ranging from 9 mm of rail width of N gauge to 45 mm G gauge and corresponding train models. They can be either parts or assembled products. Many people enjoy railroad models putting rails on attic and garden running model trains.
As a hobby, miniature making provides deep and wide variety of enjoyment such as the precise model making of sailing vessel, temple, castle and tower. Bonsai is also a miniature making creating very small sized foliage plants.

 During a trip, people sometimes experience that landscape seems be familiar. This visual phenomenon is called Déjà Vu in a psychological term. In addition to the visual sense, people may experience the same with food (tasting) and music (hearing) having the flashback of old memories.
It is said that human being's brain sorts out the experience and stores them in a database. Hypnotherapy and Naikan therapy are psychotherapy that is used to treat people's mind by reminding the memories that the patient usually doesn't recall in a particular order to carry out a purpose.
One of such treatments is sandplay therapy. A patient freely produces a garden box using provided figures including dolls, animals, plants and vehicles in a wooden box of width 72cm, depth 57th and height 7cm. A counselor reads the Déjà Vu reflected in the box garden and provides counseling based on it. People who have a hobby of precise figure collection, production of sailing ship model, operating railroad model train and bonsai might naturally practice this counseling method by themselves and might be healing their mind.

 At a dry winter day, I sometimes feel electric shock grabbing a doorknob because of the static electricity. It reminds me of a very strong electric shock that I had at a hotel overseas. This must be a sort of Déjà Vu of touching sense. Discharge can be categorized as single-time discharge, successive discharge, arc discharge, corona discharge, and glow discharge. A famous theory about the voltage that starts discharging is Paschen's law that is a subject of high voltage engineering and plasma engineering. The study of discharge is the origin of atomic physics. Many people tend to think that physics has theoretically proved everything about static electricity and discharge because it has long history, however, this is not true. There are many things that scientists have not been solved yet. Good teaching material is needed for young people to understand this attractive research area.

 Many important innovations and inventions were triggered by ordinary scene that people see without paying specific attention (Déjà Vu). For example, Archimedes got a hint for Archimedes's law for the specific gravity when he was taking a bath. Professor Hideki Yukawa had an idea about the meson theory when he was looking at sunbeams shining through branches of trees. In the area of technology, it is important to understand theories using mathematics and physics and to store the source of Déjà Vu through experiments and practical training. In this way, people can quickly find a right knowledge for problem solving and come up with an idea that would lead to innovations and inventions. EMC research needs such teaching materials that could plant seeds for Déjà Vu of EMI, EMS and static electricity.
